Found this in my minnow bucket after buying fatheads. What is it? Is it a baby walleye?

I've looked this strange creature up. It is a stickleback. They are rare in PA.

I have some pics from the first day of trout season. These are my three oldest children. John (5) caught his limit. Looks pretty happy doesn't he? LOL! This is Greg(4) He caught 2 (He went on the second day) And this is my little girl, Adeline (3). She just loves to fish! She didn't go to a trout stream. We just grabbed some crawlers and headed to the creek where we didn't have to fight other people to fish. She was so excited to go! This was her first sucker. And then she caught her first walleye! And then she caught another big sucker! So she had a pretty good day!

Went out on my boat Saturday night. I don't have a gas motor yet (still looking) and my battery died for my trolling motor. I had to paddle back to the launch. I did catch a pile of crappie but most of them were little ones. I only kept the decent sized ones and a few smaller ones that took the hook too deep. I caught a really fat rock bass (middle) that I kept. The biggest crappie that I caught had teeth marks in its belly from a musky. In fact, while we were fishing, a buddy of mine had a 4ft musky grab a 12"+ crappie and rip it up before spitting the fish out at the boat. Other than having to paddle, it was a very fun night.

Here's a personal best for me. This is a 12" blue gill and an 11" pumpkinseed. The Gill weighed 1.47lbs. Check it out! There's some good eating there! PA sure grows them big, don't they Jeff? LOL!

I tried a different spot and fished for an hour. I kept a few smaller ones because they inhaled the jig a little deep, but still a pretty good outing.

Took my boy to one of my gillin' holes. He did pretty well for a little guy! And he caught 3 of these! It looks like these bad boys wanted gills too! They were all about this size.
